We have found some wonderful locations that not only offer fun but are also accessible and comfortable for our daughter and the young people we look after.

A Beach Day At Port Kembla Beach
A bunch of families enjoying the waves and the refreshing saltly breeze. This experience is completely accessible at Port Kembla Beach.
From taking our own daughter and the young people we look after there, we have worked out what makes it so great. The beach has large, accessible bathrooms that make your child's visit comfortable.
The ceiling hoist that covers the entire bathroom allows us to easily reach both the change table and the toilet.
One of the amazing features here is the water wheelchairs available for your use. These wheelchairs mean that your child can get right into the water without any hassle.
There’s also a ramp that takes us directly to the beach.
Splash Around At Campbelltown Billabong Water Park
Does your son or daughter love the idea of splashing around in a water park?
Campbelltown Billabong Water Park is a fantastic spot for adventures.
Right from the moment your child arrives, they'll notice the friendly and helpful staff.
They are always ready to open the gates quickly, making sure we get out of the sun and into the park without any delay.
The change rooms are exceptionally large, giving us plenty of space to move around. For those who need specialised equipment, there's a change room equipped with a hoist and table.
We need an MLAK key to access this facility, which makes sure it’s always ready and available when we need it. The wet wheelchair at the poolside means your child can enjoy the water with ease.
Flat pathways throughout the park make it easy for us to navigate to the pool and splash park areas. This design means we can focus on the fun and make the most of your child's visit.
A Nature Day: Livvi’s Place Glenfield
If your young adult loves a day out in nature, Livvi’s Place Glenfield offers a serene yet interactive environment. With plenty of parking, we won’t need to spend time hunting for a parking spot.
The park has flat pathways making it easy for everyone to explore and enjoy. Large accessible bathrooms are conveniently located within the park, providing the comfort we need during our visit.
If your child is interested in sensory play, the park has things like musical instruments, accessible swings with secure, supportive seats and adaptive FUN play equipment.
These additions make Livvi’s Place Glenfield a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy nature's beauty in a fully accessible environment.
